This is the part of the discussion that is left out. All tattoo inks are toxic no matter how you look at it. Taking the additional risk of getting a tattoo from someone that is mixing their own inks without at least asking a few questions is nuts.

These are the tattoos that make no sense to me. I am a huge Obama fan but there is no way I would get a tattoo of him on my body. especially one that is so elaborate…again, what were you thinking?

This is a great post. The whole tattoo craze needs some balance. People get so hyped that they for the potential risks. This is especially true when a tattoo artist is mixing their own inks.

I think this makes a lot of sense. There is a ton of hype around tattoos especially with the celebrity of a place like Miami Ink. I think is could certainly get someone to look beyond the obvious. One of the other things not mentioned here is the risk of any tattoo artist who mixes their own inks. People seem to look beyond the factor.
