Permanent Tattoo Today, Removable Tattoo Tomorrow

Freedom2 is a Manhattan based company founded nearly ten years ago on a crazy idea that a permanent tattoo should also be a removable tattoo.

Typical tattoo ink is made from insoluble pigments and remains in the skin forever. Laser treatments can be costly and painful, and ultimately might not even remove tattoo ink completely. Thinking that there’s got to be a better alternative, Freedom2 began pursuing the idea of making permanent tattoos that are also easy, and less expensive to remove.

Infintink is the first and only easy to remove tattoo ink using an advanced scientific technology (Particle Encapsulation and Enhancement (P2E) Platform) of encapsulating the tattoo ink inside microscopic plastic beads.  The tiny transparent ink beads trap the colors inside, but a single laser tattoo removal treatment cracks the protective capsules, causing the non toxic ink to release into the body, for further breakdown and removal.

Tattooing with Infintink is similar to tattooing with other permanent tattoo inks, the only difference being Infinitink embraces the foresight technology of easy tattoo removal.  New removable tattoo ink application uses the same technique of inserting ink pigments into the skin with a needle, just like normal tattooing, and are permanent unless you change your mind.

A Fortune Small Business feature The Next Little Thing –10 big Ideas in 2007 reports Infinitink costs an average $1,000 for one laser treatment to remove in comparison to the $5000 to $10,000 it costs for numerous treatments to remove conventional tattoos.  In addition, Freedom-2 expects the new removable tattoo ink to cost four times the price of standard ink.

Today all tattoos are permanent, and soon all will be removable thanks to Freedom 2 new easy to remove tattoo ink.

Options for Home Tattoo Removal

child's drawing of a house

There are many home tattoo removal options on the market to remove a tattoo in the privacy of your own home.  There are many names and terms used for home tattoo removal options such as tattoo fade cream, tattoo removal cream, tattoo remover, tattoo fading creams, and tattoo removal balm.

Home tattoo removal options generally, involve the application of one or several creams and /or chemical solutions directly on the area of skin with the tattoo.

Many of these tattoo removal products or at home tattoo fade creams contain pigment lighteners and ingredients to exfoliate the skin’s surface. With continual usage, tattoos begin to noticeably fade after repeated applications.

Tattoo removal is not an overnight process.  And, similar to the other removal options home tattoo removal products require commitment, time, and patience.

There are benefits to choosing home tattoo removal over other forms of removal such as laser. Home tattoo removal is considered to be a painless, more convenient and affordable way to remove tattoos in comparison to expensive laser and IPL treatments.

Gone are the Days of Old School Tattoo Removal

Today, people are fortunate to have several different methods of tattoo removal to choose from.  And, within the past ten years, newer tattoo removal technology has also made tattoo removal easier and less painful than the days of old school tattoo removal.

Ironically, the most popular tattoo removal methods ten years ago are rarely performed today.  Dermabrasion, cryosurgery, and excision were the well known ways to remove tattoos, but now they are thought of as “old school” tattoo removal.

Dermabrasion actually sands the skin to remove the surface as well as the middle layers.  As you can imagine, sanding off layers of skin can be very painful, especially if tattoos are large. With dermabrasion tattoo removal usually the majority of a tattoo can be removed, but there are some tattoos that dermabrasion has not been successful at removing.

Cryosurgery is another old school tattoo removal method that doctors used in the past. This technique requires freezing the tattoo skin before attempting dermabrasion.  Freezing the skin makes the procedure fairly painless during removal, but as soon as the skin thaws pain sets in, and the pain can be extremely uncomfortable.

Excision is the literally the old school removal of tattoos where a doctor cuts out and removes the tattoo with a scalpel. After the tattoo is removed the remaining skin is stitched together with sutures leaving behind a scar.  Large tattoos often require skin grafts in order to close area where the tattoo once existed and now remains a wound.

Tattoo removal has most certainly made significant progress making it much easier and less painful to remove tattoos today, in comparison to the old school tattoo removal methods used just 10 years ago.

On the Way to Remove Tattoos

Many people look at tattoo removal as a way to start a new chapter in life, and remove a painful reminder of perhaps an unpleasant past.

The point of tattoo removal is somewhat easy to understand; remove a tattoo that is no longer wanted. The process of tattoo removal is another story that is not so easy to complete.  Something people quickly realize easy and painless are not words most would use to describe tattoo removal, as there is no fast, painless easy way to remove tattoos.

Unfortunately, tattoo removal is not a painless, easy process.  The pain of tattoo removal comes not only from the uneasiness and discomfort of some tattoo removal methods, pain is also felt in how painfully long tattoo removal can take, as well as the expensive burden and strain removing a tattoo can generate.

More often than not, the amount of time and cost of tattoo removal are what prevents people going forward with a way to remove tattoos.

The good news for people looking to move forward and remove tattoo reminders of the past is tattoo removal is becoming more and more progressive everyday.  So many advances have already been made in tattoo removal making it easier for people to find a way to remove tattoos and move on to a new chapter in life.

And as tattoo removal continues to progress at the same rate it is, in the near future easy tattoo removal will be the way to remove all tattoos.

Well-Known Tattoo Removal Options

I have options?

In good judgment tattoos are beautiful designs of artwork, yet in poor judgment tattoos are unsightly displays that lack reasoning. Thankfully, there are different tattoo removal options available that are well-known options to remove tattoos within reason.

Here are some well-known tattoo removal options available to remove tattoos.

Laser Tattoo Removal and Intense Pulse Light represent two of the newest tattoo removal options available.  The option of using lasers for tattoo removal developed for the most part during the last 10 years.

Pulses of specific laser lights are used to target tattoo ink pigments that over time and several treatment sessions, work to breakdown the tattoo design and remove the ink.  Laser is an option of tattoo removal that is popular and unpopular, popular for being a reasonably effective removal option and unpopular for being both a highly uncomfortable and expensive method of tattoo removal.

Surgical Tattoo Removal or Excision involves cutting the outline of the tattoo out of the skin, then stitching the remaining skin back together.  This tattoo removal option is ideal for very small tattoos.  The trade off of removing tattoos with surgical tattoo removal is trading a tattoo for a scar.

Tattoo Cover Up is an alternative option of tattoo removal that actually does not involve the removal of tattoos, but rather covering up tattoos with another tattoo.  This method of tattoo removal is an option for people that like having a tattoo just don’t like the tattoo they have.  Cover up tattoo designs must be reasonably darker than the existing unwanted tattoo as they literally are tattoos to cover up tattoos.

Tattoo Removal Balm or Tattoo Fade Cream is another tattoo removal option available for people looking for alternatives to surgical and laser tattoo removal.  Tattoo removal balm and tattoo fade creams are reasonable and affordable tattoo removal options without the pain and hassle of multiple appointments, expensive doctor’s bills, and actual treatment pain. Tattoo fading creams and removal balm breakdown tattoo ink within the skin cells using the body’s natural renewal process for healthy, new, ink free skin.

Easy Come Easy Go Tattoos and Removal

With the ambush of tattoo newcomers and artists, comes an increase demand to fade away and remove tattoos.  It seems as the number of people getting tattoos continues to increase, so to does the number of people getting tattoo removal, which is a tattoo trend apparently of the philosophy “easy come, easy go.”

US News & World Report says there are more than 20,000 tattoo parlors operating in the United States, and on the average a new parlor is opening every day.

According to an interesting New York Time report, there are currently about 45 million Americans with tattoos; however 17 percent later have tattoo regret as life changes.

Some reasons people look for easy tattoo removal include:

· Wanting to remove tattoo of ex-fiancé’s name
· Brides to be who do not want tattoos to show in wedding gown
· Wanting to remove tattoos for a fresh start to look more employable or to appear better suited for marriage
· And to free up valuable skin real estate in order to get cover up tattoos to replace old tattoos

Easy come; easy go so it goes for the tattoo and tattoo removal trend anyway.

Ways to Avoid Tattoo Removal

Outgrowing a tattoo is not the first thing most people are thinking about once they finally decide to get one.  But before you get a tattoo it is smart to consider common reasons that cause tattoo regret that then leads to tattoo removal.

Tattoo suggestions to avoid tattoo removal:

· Getting a tattoo that has no personal meaning behind it
· Getting a tattoo name of your current love interest
· Getting gang tattoos or any other tattoos for initiation
· Tattoos that results from peer pressure, or being under the influence of alcohol, or drugs, or all of the above which all lead easily to tattoo removal down the road.

Another consideration before getting a tattoo to avoid tattoo removal is visualizing how a tattoo might impact your lifestyle or career path.  Although it’s unfair, it’s a reality that people will see you differently if you have a tattoo they can see.   So it’s important to not only select a tattoo design with meaning but also to wisely select the body location you get tattooed.

Popular places men get tattoos are on arms, shoulders, upper backs, and calves.  While the most popular places for women tattoos are lower backs, bikini lines, and ankles.

Not surprising both men and women find the most painful areas to tattoo are behind the knees, between the toes, along the spine, inner arms, middle of sternum, and the top of hands and feet. And the least painful tattoo areas to be outer part of forearms, shoulders, and the ever so padded buttocks.

Getting a tattoo can be a defining decision as well as a defining mistake.  Give the idea of getting a tattoo careful consideration to avoid getting a tattoo that is destine to end in regret and tattoo removal.

When Laser Tattoo Removal is too Expensive

Laser tattoo removal is the most well-known option for tattoo removal. Although, many people consider lasers the best option for tattoo removal, for many people laser tattoo removal is not an option as it is not affordable.

With the growing trend of people getting tattoos, there comes a growing trend of tattoo removal.  And while unwanted tattoos can happen to anyone with a tattoo, not everyone with tattoos can not financially afford laser tattoo removal.

The cost of tattoo removal with lasers is considerably expensive compared to other more affordable tattoo removal options.  Laser treatment prices must factor in the cost of the doctor’s time and salary, the overhead of additional staff to help run the practice, and the actual price of leasing or owning several incredibly expensive laser machines.

All of these costly expenses are factored into laser treatments regardless of the how small or large the unwanted tattoos are making the process to remove tattoos seem impossible for many people to afford.

Fortunately, another noticeable trend became obvious to laser doctors, an increase pattern in “no show” follow up appointments of first time laser tattoo removal patients.  This increase in decrease return laser patients resulted in doctors recognizing laser tattoo removal is not for everyone.

Many doctors now treat patients using combination tattoo removal approach  - supplementing laser tattoo removal treatments with in home tattoo fading.

The benefits of using WreckingBalm® tattoo removal with laser removal treatments is the ability to eliminate the number of laser removal treatments needed to achieve satisfactory tattoo removal results.  Using Wreckingbalm also shows an increase rate of people experiencing faster tattoo removal than with laser treatments alone.

A new tattoo removal trend has doctors suggesting patients use wrecking balm home fading on skin completely intact between laser to speed up the tattoo fading process, and to fade tattoo ink pigments lasers cannot effectively target (such as lighter colors) and remove.

For those not familiar with Wrecking Balm it is alternative home tattoo removal system that uses chemical exfoliation intensified by a hand held device-using FDA approved technology.  With as little as three minutes per day, three to four times per week for several months WreckingBalm helps to reduce the costly expense of laser tattoo removal, while finishing the removal process of tattoo ink pigments laser removal alone cannot remove.

And for all those people with unwanted tattoos that laser tattoo removal is not option due to affordability, WreckingBalm presents a safe, effective affordable tattoo removal alternative to lasers that really works.

The popularity of tattoo fading is hardly doing this, fading that is
In fact, tattoo fading is becoming more and more popular everyday, with droves of people searching online for new tattoo fading options.  So what exactly is tattoo fading…is it a tattoo that fades away over time?

While the term “tattoo fading” could be used to mean a naturally fading tattoo, most people refer to tattoo fading as a technique used for removing tattoo designs for either partial or complete tattoo removal.

It used to be tattoo fading existed only in dreams and in the form of surgical tattoo removal.  But today, tattoo fading has developed into a growing business the ink industry.

Tattoo fading is a way for people to improve an existing tattoo by partially pre-fading old ink before having a tattoo artist rework the design with fresh ink.

Another trend surfacing with tattoo fading are the many people getting tattoos more or less as a fashion statement that later on experience buyer’s remorse and tattoo regret.

Fortunately, there are several tattoo-fading methods available that do not involve surgical tattoo removal.  Tattoo fading can be accomplished with laser treatments, chemical-peeling solutions, at home tattoo fading creams, and using combinations of these fading methods.

Once the desirable method of tattoo fading has been determined, true tattoo fading begins.  Slowly, but surely those committed to fading tattoos watch their regrettable tattoo mistake fade away before their very eyes.
