Remove Tattoos with Chemical Skin Peeling

Chemical Skin Peeling is a method of tattoo removal performed as a “physician / medically supervised” procedure using a medium-depth acid solution, most commonly TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) that is applied topically to the tattoo skin. 

The application of the chemcial acid solution penetrates down deeply into the underlying skin layers creating a chemical reaction.  The reaction of the chemical solution breaking through the skin’s tough cell matrix causes a stinging, or slight “burning” sensation that results in layers of skin cells peeling off and shedding naturally.

The process of chemical tattoo removal works similar to laser tattoo removal, as it breaks down ink pigments bit by bit within the layers of the skin.  Once tattoo ink molecules are broken into smaller particles of ink they are removed and reabsorbed as normal excessive bodily waste.

The benefit of chemical tattoo removal over laser tattoo removal is, that it usually has less risk of scarring. The drawback however is definitely the amount of time it takes to remove tattoos.  But then again, when you consider the cost of chemical peeling tattoo removal it is a mere fraction of the cost of laser tattoo removal, and the extra time spent removing the tattoo is well worth the money savings for many with tattoo regret.
