Miami Ink Tattoo

Miami Ink Tattoo

Miami Ink, located at 1344 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, Florida is a popular tourist destination. To many,

it’s a great location to receive their South Beach souvenir. Many seek out the popular tattoo parlor for its fame brought forward by TLC’s hit show “Miami Ink”. Owners, Ami James and Chris Nunez are just a few of the famous artists tourists seek out. Unfortunately, the professionalism and artistic qualities found and filmed at Miami Ink are not what are found at parlors across the country.

For years people have been getting tattoos while on vacation; often as a token of their great trip to warm Caribbean destinations. Regrettably, there comes a point where the research and effort to get a quality tattoo is often forgotten. The artists featured on Miami Ink are professionals with lots of experience behind their belt. Not so much can be said for the guy behind a counter at the Tat Parlor in Mexico.

If you are thinking of getting a tattoo it’s important to do your research. Make sure the artist you are using is a professional, and has experience. Ensure that you like that you are going to want to live with this tattoo forever or you’ll be seeking out means of tattoo removal before you even return home from your vacation.

You should also research the type of ink that the artist is using. Often times, artists will mix their own inks. Since this ink will be injected deep into your skin it’s important to know what the ink is made of. It is critical that the proper steps are taken to ensure that the tattoo needle and inks are kept sterile. Make sure the parlor is clean and follows regulations for a clean, sterile environment. While it may be fun to get your tattoo while beaching around the coast of Costa Rica, but it may be best to wait until you’re back in the United States where regulations are in place to keep chances of infections to a minimum.

Keep in mind that not all tourist attractions like Miami Ink are clean and professional. Make sure you do your research or you could be in for guaranteed tattoo regret.

What Motivates Women to Get Tattoos

What Motivates Women Can Lead to Tattoo Regret and Removal

women and tattoos

When it comes to motivation of tattoos there seems to be a bond among “wayward stereotypical” tattooed women.

With the tattoo popularity trend on a steady rise, it is important to understand what motivates women to tattoo, as it relates the growing demand for tattoo removal.

It seems wayward tattooed women travel down a common path, as many women regard their decision to get a tattoo as an immature, “impulsive stab” at finding self-identity.

And now ironically, women’s motivation for tattoo removal comes from maturity, a sense of self-realization, and the desire to dissociate the future from the past.

Rash, poor decision-making, leading to tattoo regret is the common motivation empowering the latest, deliberate trend of tattoo removal.

Tattoo removal does require consideration when it comes to method of treatment, cost/affordability, level of pain, and potential risks of infection or scaring.

Today’s motivation to tattoo may very well be tomorrow’s deterrent and tattoo regret.  Women everywhere, please rise to the occasion and think about your future before getting a tattoo.
