When Laser Tattoo Removal is too Expensive

Laser tattoo removal is the most well-known option for tattoo removal. Although, many people consider lasers the best option for tattoo removal, for many people laser tattoo removal is not an option as it is not affordable.

With the growing trend of people getting tattoos, there comes a growing trend of tattoo removal.  And while unwanted tattoos can happen to anyone with a tattoo, not everyone with tattoos can not financially afford laser tattoo removal.

The cost of tattoo removal with lasers is considerably expensive compared to other more affordable tattoo removal options.  Laser treatment prices must factor in the cost of the doctor’s time and salary, the overhead of additional staff to help run the practice, and the actual price of leasing or owning several incredibly expensive laser machines.

All of these costly expenses are factored into laser treatments regardless of the how small or large the unwanted tattoos are making the process to remove tattoos seem impossible for many people to afford.

Fortunately, another noticeable trend became obvious to laser doctors, an increase pattern in “no show” follow up appointments of first time laser tattoo removal patients.  This increase in decrease return laser patients resulted in doctors recognizing laser tattoo removal is not for everyone.

Many doctors now treat patients using combination tattoo removal approach  - supplementing laser tattoo removal treatments with in home tattoo fading.

The benefits of using WreckingBalm® tattoo removal with laser removal treatments is the ability to eliminate the number of laser removal treatments needed to achieve satisfactory tattoo removal results.  Using Wreckingbalm also shows an increase rate of people experiencing faster tattoo removal than with laser treatments alone.

A new tattoo removal trend has doctors suggesting patients use wrecking balm home fading on skin completely intact between laser to speed up the tattoo fading process, and to fade tattoo ink pigments lasers cannot effectively target (such as lighter colors) and remove.

For those not familiar with Wrecking Balm it is alternative home tattoo removal system that uses chemical exfoliation intensified by a hand held device-using FDA approved technology.  With as little as three minutes per day, three to four times per week for several months WreckingBalm helps to reduce the costly expense of laser tattoo removal, while finishing the removal process of tattoo ink pigments laser removal alone cannot remove.

And for all those people with unwanted tattoos that laser tattoo removal is not option due to affordability, WreckingBalm presents a safe, effective affordable tattoo removal alternative to lasers that really works.

The Tattoo Tragedy
Reason for Tattoo Removal

Arguably unfair, however certainly a fact when it comes to tattoos, people judge people for the tattoos they have.

People blatantly judge one another when it comes to the tattoo designs they select.   Unfortunately, many people have poor judgment when it comes to choosing tattoo designs and where on the body to place them, resulting in good reasons for tattoo removal.

In order to avoid becoming a public tattoo tragedy that warrants tattoo removal, you have to give your tattoo careful consideration.

If you are thinking of getting a tattoo be creative and mindful of the “what” and “where” you tattoo.  Stay away from tattoo trends such as the latest comic book hero, one hit wonder album cover art, and celebrity tattoos, as these are all travesties that turn to tattoo tragedy and reasons for tattoo removal.

Mistakes are sometimes inevitable but not when it comes to tattoo mistakes.  Tattoo regret is preventable and so is the need for tattoo removal.

Be smart about your tattoo decision, as the tattoo decision you make is one that is more permanent than most think.

And here’s some advice, if you are thinking about how to remove your tattoo before you actually get your tattoo this is a good sign your about to make a bad tattoo mistake.

Getting a tattoo can be a defining moment to look forward to.  And remember you want to avoid looking back on your tattoo decision and regretting it.  So think before you tattoo or else you are likely to find yourself being judged one too many times for being a tattoo tragedy.

Fashion Trend Women’s Tattoo Removal

When it comes to reasons women get tattoo removal top reasons are embarrassment, shame, career disadvantages, relationship breakups, special occasions such as a wedding or class reunion, and believe it or not fashion trends.

More and more women are realizing that tattoos are not a fashionable trend.  Women are challenged with forever-changing clothing fashion trends.  Each new fashion season launches a new area of the body to fixate, highlight and expose.  Which means every season women have a new body area to obsess over and to shape up in order to look “exactly so.”  Often clothing styles warrant women looking fit, trim, and without tattoos to carry off the “in” look.

One style that generates reason among women to get tattoo removal is the plunging neckline.  Plunging necklines are extremely popular seen frequently from season to season.  Many women with tattoos located in on their chest area get tattoo removal to avoid the embarrassment of exposing unwanted tattoos.

Ankle tattoos are very popular female tattoos, and they are also very popular tattoos for females in terms of tattoo removal.  Although women have the option of wearing long dress paints and business suits to cover tattoos, many women get tattoo removal to remove their ankle tattoos so they can wear stylish dresses and skirts with out visible tattoos.

Lower back tattoos are on the rise among women and tattoo removal.  The lower back tattoo was a fiery female fad that is fading and fizzling as women age.  It seems the love affair between low waist jeans and lower back tattoos has ended with more and more women wanting to get tattoo removal so they can stop worrying that someone will see they have a so called Tramp Stamp.

Women are getting tattoo removal more and more as they realize that tattoos are not a fashion trend, that can be taken out of the closet when in style and left hanging when the style changes.

She. Tattoos. Aging. Identity. Trend.

Women become bolder as they grow older. This ideal is one clearly supported by the growing trend of older women getting tattoos.  Mature women are transforming tattoos, and tattoos are transforming women in their middle ages.  Tattoo images, colors, and bold patterns are defining the older female identity.  Women are getting tattoos as a coming of “aged” if you will later on in their mature years.

The number of middle-aged women getting tattoos for the first time is a trend that has been on the rise for years.  Back in 2001, American Demographics magazine published a study that identified this emerging tattoo trend finding women between 40 and 64 years of age had significantly more tattoos than men of the same age.

Reasons women get tattoos and become new ink inductees later in life range from commemorating significant birthdays, celebrating divorce, leaving behind a relationship, or a bad habit, or a way of life, and even go so far as to make fun of society’s “older” women stereotype.

To some aging women, tattoos are a means of incorporating years of experience into living breathing art because tattoos exist inside her body.  Other older women get tattoos during difficult times as a means of self-affirmation that better days will come.  And of course there are the middle-aged women that see tattoos as a flirty game to play in an effort to resist looking as though they are aging.

Women “coming of aged” defiantly get tattoos for Identity. Power. Beauty. and Respect.  Signifying life is beautiful, and at times brutal older women boldly get tattoos as momentous markings to remind her of the path endured along the way in which she has arrived.

There’s a new trend “popping out” among expecting moms that are feeling “from here to maternity” as they face the “big bump” of the final weeks of pregnancy… the big ta-do is DIY temporary tummy tattoo trend.

Today, mommies-to-be are loud and proud about being pregnant, as they should be.  Temporary tattoo designs are a way to celebrate the overflowing joy of carrying unborn child by decorating their overwhelming baby bellies with whimsical henna tattoo designs.

Although temporary tattoos are a new maternity mode emerging in fashion, applying temporary henna tattoos on the belly of expecting mothers near the end of a pregnancy is a ritual of some cultures that has been practiced for centuries.

In some cultures applying henna tattoos to the tummy of expecting mothers is believed to protect and bless both the mother and child against difficult labor and delivery.

Whether the designs are intended to defend or decorate, temporary tummy tattoos are a fun loving way for expanding moms-to-be to enjoy their maternity as they grow closer to giving birth to their precious new baby.

Just to be extra safe, pregnant mothers should always check with their doctors before decorating their baby bellies with temporary henna tattoos.

Celebrity Addiction Idolized Tattoos

For Hollywood celebrities, the name of the game is “Fame.”  Celebrities are in a constant struggle to standout, and be singled out as Mr. or Ms. “Famous of the Moment,” and hopefully longer.  Many of Hollywood’s rising celebrities are obsessed with the addiction of media attention, and will do anything from getting tattoos, to starve their bodies, even jail time to obtain fame.

Then you have the celebrity feeding ground of innocent, ordinary young female icon influenced followers imitating celebrity trends from dress, to hairstyles, down to getting tattoos

But the lives of glamorous celebrities and those of the heavily persuaded icon-iacs are far cries from each other.  Trying to pull off tattoos like Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox and any other celeb A-listers with tattoos … just doesn’t cut it on the cul-de-sac curbs of small-town suburbia.

When ordinary people, especially young women see celebrities they idolize and worship, going out and getting ornate tattoos, on highly visible body areas, these impulsive idol mimickers go out and get the same tattoos.  And it isn’t pretty.  It isn’t funny.  And it isn’t cool.

The trend doesn’t have to be tattoos, it could be any celebrity trend, it just happens to be celebrity tattoos at the moment.  Any number of Hollywood’s female celebrities could walk down the street wearing a dress of soiled dirty dishrags and the all the “Celebrity Wanna-Bs” would cause a rise in Walmart stocks the next day, as a result of an unexpected dishrag shortage in isle sevens across America.

Its called Celebrity Tattoo Icon-aholic Addiction and it is a serious disease spreading among young American women under the influence of HollywoodCTIA causes ordinary, wholesome all American Girls to waste away on Google searching for tattoo pictures of their favorite celebrity icons to emulate.

If you don’t believe how serious celebrity tattoo addiction is, conduct a Google search using the keywords “celebrity tattoos” and it will yield thousands of links to sites and directories with images of celebrity tattoos.

These celebrity tattoo directories list thousands of actors and actresses who have tattoos, and the type of tattoos they have.  These directories also list where celebrity tattoos are located on the body, when the actor or actress got the tattoos, and even the name of the tattoo artists tattooing the famous.

It is incredible what you will find on the Internet about celebrity tattoos.  But what you will also find is very little information about CTIA.  The status of popular celebrity trends prevails the seriousness of celebrity idolization and addictions whether the trend is tattoos, eating disorders, or baby bumps.

Deep Dark White Secret

Barely visible, yet unbearable to bare. White ink tattoos are the latest trend gaining momentum among celebrities.

The emerging trend of white ink, tattoo designs created with nothing but white ink are a bit of a contradiction to traditional tattooing.  Traditionally, tattoos are bold, often colorful designs intended to standout and draw attention; and while white ink tattoos do stand out and draw attention, it’s done in a different manner.

The lure of white ink is apparently its subtlety.  White tattoos are discreet and unnoticeable, unless you are looking for them.  And the put off of white tattoos; white ink tats are prone to fading and discoloration, which can be disappointing.

Ironically, white ink tattoos are best on light or fair skin tones, as darker skin cannot absorb enough of the white ink for tattoo images to appear.

Getting white ink is much more painful than traditional tattooing.  The white ink used is thicker than other tattoo inks, thus requires a larger, very sharp needle for injections.  Also, white tattoos require several passes over the area to make sure that the white ink sinks fully into the skin

When a white ink tattoo is first applied, it looks puffy and distorted, much like a burn, and often appears yellowish in color. Once the tattoo heals the white ink leaves a ghostly image that looks quite different from a traditional tattoo.

The downsides to white tattoos are they are notoriously hard to heal; absolutely cannot have sun exposure, as white ink fades tattoo almost twice as fast as a regular tattoo inks; and white ink commonly causes skin reactions with swelling and itching that leads to the ink oozing from the tattoo.

Despite all of this, there are still people with white ink tattoos, who are extremely satisfied.  However, the majority of us mistakenly confuse white ink tattoos for scars or brandings.

If you are considering a white ink tattoo, do your research carefully, as these tattoos can easily go very, very wrong.

Fake Fashion with Temporary Tattoos

Fake is Fashionable

It’s true, “fake” really is the “in trend” in fashion these days.  It seems tattoos of the not-so-permanent kind are the “hip style” when it comes to accessorizing.  Even though they are fake, temporary tattoos make “real” sassy fashion statements, not to mention great topics of conversation.

Another bonus, fake tattoos offer a way to step outside your comfort zone, while staying clear of the all to common ground of ‘tattoo regret.’

Temporary tattoos are becoming trendier then their trend-setting etched counterparts.  Not-so-permanent tattoos offer a means of emulating the reckless abandonment of permanent ink without the aftermath of regret and the hassle of tattoo removal

Fake tatts are popping up everywhere, and on everyone. Famous celebrities, professional athletes, and supermodels are faking ink in the movies, advertising commercials, and in magazine fashion spreads.

With fake celebritiy tattoos fueling the hip ink frenzy, companies like TattooFashionTemptu, and Tattoo Shock, are having a grand ride aboard the temporary tattoo bandwagon.

So, if you are considering temporary tattoos, but are worried you’ll look like a fake phony for not digging the real deal, consider this–

Fashion is fleeting and so to fake tattoosPermanent tattoos not so much. Real tattoos are like wearing not-so-hip bell-bottoms when slim skinny cigarette [pants] are in chic.

Let’s be real, fake tattoos are the real deal in fashion these days.  Remember, don’t make a tattoo mistake, and go fake.

What Motivates Women to Get Tattoos

What Motivates Women Can Lead to Tattoo Regret and Removal

women and tattoos

When it comes to motivation of tattoos there seems to be a bond among “wayward stereotypical” tattooed women.

With the tattoo popularity trend on a steady rise, it is important to understand what motivates women to tattoo, as it relates the growing demand for tattoo removal.

It seems wayward tattooed women travel down a common path, as many women regard their decision to get a tattoo as an immature, “impulsive stab” at finding self-identity.

And now ironically, women’s motivation for tattoo removal comes from maturity, a sense of self-realization, and the desire to dissociate the future from the past.

Rash, poor decision-making, leading to tattoo regret is the common motivation empowering the latest, deliberate trend of tattoo removal.

Tattoo removal does require consideration when it comes to method of treatment, cost/affordability, level of pain, and potential risks of infection or scaring.

Today’s motivation to tattoo may very well be tomorrow’s deterrent and tattoo regret.  Women everywhere, please rise to the occasion and think about your future before getting a tattoo.
